At googi googi, we’re not just a business; we’re a small, family-run operation passionate about birds and dedicated to bringing you quality apparel in a green way. We use a made-to-order fulfillment service, meaning each piece of clothing is uniquely created and shipped from a location closest to you. This approach helps us reduce production waste, reduce environmental impact and deliver products efficiently internationally.
Understanding the Challenges of Returns
- We want to be open and transparent about our challenges. Under such made-to-order concept mentioned above, handling returns is a significant challenge for us. Our on-demand fulfillment partners do not accept returns unless there is a quality issue or a damage upon arrival. This is due to the fact that for such made-to-order type of manufacturing services we use, each item is considered as "custom made".
- However, your satisfaction is crucial to us. If you’re not happy with your purchase, returns and exchanges are possible, and they need to be shipped to our location in the Netherlands at your own cost. We want to be upfront about this to manage your expectation, because, as a start-up family business, every return directly impacts us, as well as those birds who we could have helped otherwise.
Before You Order: Size and Color Considerations
- Size Matters: Please double-check our size chart in the product page and measure carefully before placing your order. We want to ensure you're delighted with the fit of your ordered items. By ordering the correct size, it helps us reduce unnecessary returns, which in turn benefits our planet.
- Color Variations: There can be slight differences in color between the product photos and the actual item, which may be affected by lighting and screen settings. We strive for accuracy, but some variation is natural.
Return and Exchange Process
- Time Frame: You have 30 days from receiving your order to contact us via email at help@googigoogi.com for a return or exchange.
- Defective or damaged items: Customers are required to send clear pictures of the defect to help@googigoogi.com within 48 hours of receipt. Upon verification, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost.
- Shipping Returns: For returns due to change of mind, size mismatch, or customer preference: The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Please contact our support team at help@googigoogi.com for return instructions and address in the Netherlands (where our nest is located). We kindly encourage customers to review size guides and product descriptions carefully to minimize the need for returns.
- Condition of Returned Items: Items must be returned in their original, resalable condition. This means they should be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition in which they were received. Items not in their original condition are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Exchanges: Exchanges are handled similarly to returns. Customers need to bear the shipping costs for sending the item back in their original status to our location in the Netherlands. Upon receiving the item, we will process the exchange.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item. If the inspection on the returns items is approved, we will then process your refund to the original payment method within 14 business days.
